Thank you for your interest in our music and our message. Well, I guess it is not really our message – God provided the basis for it, and for that matter he even provided us with the music. In any case, we really enjoy the fellowship that God has provided us through the music and message He placed in our hearts. And we pray in some small way that we inspire others to really want to Win This Race.

That is the name of the first song on our recently released first ever studio recording – Late Night Conversations on Carter Street. In fact, if you weren’t totally annoyed by the music playing when you entered this site, you may still be listening to Win This Race right now.

This song was written while experiencing some difficult moments in the everyday world, specifically in the corporate world – where it is easy to get caught up in the politics and the race for the almighty dollar and grandiose titles. Obviously, this is not a race that everyone can win. And as it has been said before, the trouble with the rat race is that even if you win, you are still a rat.

Win This Race is a simple song that helps put things in their proper perspective. Don’t take this the wrong way, God wants us to give our best and excel at what we do in this world. But, the real race is not the rat race that most of us spend the majority of our precious waking moments worrying over. The real race is a race for a prize that can be won by many. In the real race, you truly do not have to finish first in order to be a winner. In the real race, you just have to realize that you cannot be a winner unless you invite God to come along.

But when I win this race, You will have quenched my thirst.
