Meet Dunn By Faith

We are just a few small town guys who have a great time getting together and playing God praising music. All of us grew up and still reside in the big city of Cerro Gordo, Illinois, a town of about 1,500 people. We started out just a few years ago as a praise and worship band and played periodically for special services and for awhile at Saturday night contemporary services at the Cerro Gordo United Methodist Church. As the praise band diminished, the three of us continued to play and work on some of our original songs. And we are really excited about recently completing our first studio recording "Late Night Conversations on Carter Street".

The title of the CD comes from the fact that much of our life and the development of our band and our music has taken place late at night on Carter Street in Cerro Gordo. The church where we practiced and worshipped and conducted our late night talks is on Carter Street. Two of our band members reside on Carter Street. In fact, Terry and Kevin went to High School together and lived just 2 blocks from each other for seven years before they even knew the other had any musical interests. Isn't it strange how people living in such close proximity for so long can one day be brought together and inspire each other?

Our music and message has truly been brought about by God and by many wonderful people who may never know just how much impact they have had in our lives. We have truly been blessed to have had family and friends steer us down the right path and be great examples in faith.
